Anne Carson - Nox

Canadian poet Anne Carson has come out with her first book of poetry in five years, Nox: An Epitaph for my Brother. The book is presented as a "book in a box", printed on a long, single piece of paper, creating around 200 hundred pages of poetry and images.

Carson says of the book: "When my brother died I made an epitaph for him in the form of a book. This is a replica of it, as close as we could get."

Carson has inserted old letters, family photos, collages, and sketches on the pages, creating a book that focuses on the themes of memory and history.
