Last Night's Autobiography Of Childhood Launch

A packed house got a chance to listen to Sina Queyras read from her amazing first novel Autobiography Of Childhood!
It was a great night, and the Q&A following her reading gave those in attendance an opportunity to ask some very interesting questions. This gave Sina a chance to let us in a little on her creative process (like that the finished book is actually the fifth version, where -instead of using one voice for all of the characters - she ultimately decided on a different voice for each), explain the difference, for her, between writing poetry and prose (Sina's last book was her acclaimed poetry collection Lemon Hound) and discuss the influence Virginia Woolf's The Waves had on Autobiography.

Big thanks and congratulations to Sina on the launch of her marvelous new book, and much appreciation to fellow author Jason Camlot who handled introduction duties with affable charm, and of course, thanks to the many of you who came out to support some great writing!
