A kid picks some kid books.

Addie stopped by today and I talked her into recommending five books from our kids section:

Pippi Longstocking by Astrid Lindgren
"Pippi's cool because she's tough and lives in a house with a monkey and a horse and no grown-ups."

Benjamin Bear in Fuzzy Thinking by Philippe Coudray
"It's a really funny comic!"

The Anna et Froga series by Anouk Ricard
"I really like the one about the worm who eats too many french fries and gets stuck in his worm hole."

I Want My Hat Back by John Klassen
"I like the drawings and I like how we see the hat but the bear doesn't notice it."

Are You Ready To Play Outside? by Mo Willems
"This is one is good because the elephant and the pig are excited to go outside but when it starts to rain and they get upset. Some worms come out of the ground to play in the rain and so the elephant and pig decide to be like them and have some fun in the rain, but then are sad again when the rain stops. Then, the elephant [spoiler alert] uses his trunk to spray himself and the pig and they're happy again. I learned how to read by reading these books. "
