Photos from last week's Early Summer Reading event!

Last Wednesday, June 6th, the Drawn and Quarterly bookstore was thrilled to host an Early Summer Reading, with not one, not two, but three highly engaging Canadian authors reading to us from their recent work!

Here are some pictures of Teri Vlassopoulos, Mark Lavorato, and Angie Abdou providing us with an evening of literary entertainment:

Teri read us an excerpt on finding connections with others through shared loss, from her 2010 book, Bats or Swallows

Mark read to us about memory, time travel (sort of), and pivotal moments, from his recent book, Believing Cedric

Angie Abdou joined us all the way from Fernie, BC, to let us in on what life is really like in a small ski town, via her new book, The Canterbury Trail

Thank you to the authors, and to everyone who came out!

We have copies, some of them signed, of all three books in store, if you would like to buy any or all of them!
