Artforum, "The September Issue"

The 50th Anniversary Issue of Artforum has just made it to the store you guys. I don't even know where to begin, just look at this star-studded table of content.

Throughout this landmark issue - the thickest to date, 90 distinguished contributors reflect on five decades in media, technology, and art. The list includes store-favorites such as Barbara Kruger, Michael Snow, Merlin Carpenter, Cindy Sherman, Isa Genzken, Kara Walker, Cory Arcangel, Ryan Trecartin, Ai Weiwei and Takashi Murakami

The entire issue is penned by esteemed artists, critics and curators - all of it. I'm personally looking forward to reading contributions by Pamela M. Lee, Amy Taubin, and John Kelsey, as well as a conversation between Michelle Kuo and Wolfgang Tillmans, an article on Jean-Fran├žois Lyotard’s The Sublime and the Avant-Garde, one on Jean Baudrillard's What Are You Doing After the Orgy? and another one Steven Spielberg’s Jurassic Park. And that's just from flipping through the mag in a quick minute. You probably don't want to miss out on this very special issue.
