TONIGHT at
7pm, Toronto cartoonists
Michael Deforge and
Patrick Kyle will be in store to discuss their work and their artistic process! Very exciting! These guys make comics (and lots of them) in the darkly humorous and intensely bizarre vein, and they are SO GOOD at it. I just spent an hour procrastinating by browsing their respective sites. Gay ants, gigantic hands, dog juice, strange new trolls...
They will be launching their newest work,
Black Mass Collection (Kyle) and
Lose #4 (Deforge), both of which are already store favourites. Plus, their talks will be followed by a short Q&A, hosted by Montreal cartoonist
