Oh, yeah! It's been a good year for the short fiction so far this year. First we had George Saunders' much-acclaimed Tenth of December and now this, Karen Russell's newest collection of short stories, Vampires in the Lemon Grove. Russell's Pulitzer-prize nominated novel, Swamplandia, still sells on the reg here and check out what the New York Times has said of this one: "[Russell's work] has a velocity and trajectory that is little less than dazzling and a tough, enveloping, exhilarating voice that cannot be equaled". Bodes well, don't you think?
And remember: all Hard-Cover fiction, as always, is 20% off here at 211.
