Fun time for kids

Hey-o! We just received a bunch of new kids’ books!

First up: a new LEMONY SNICKET tale, illustrated by none other than store favorite Jon Klassen! THE DARK follows little Laszlo as he struggles with his fear of the dark, something a lot of kiddos can relate to for sure!

Next is Frank Viva’s A LONG WAY AWAY, a story that can be read from front to back, and back to front. Get ready for an impressive voyage from outer space to the bottom of the ocean, and then all the way back up!

My favorite arrival this week is this funny pop-up book from Helium (Actes Sud) titled TU PRÉFÈRES? In this cute little book, kids are asked some big questions with fun pop-ups, pull-tabs, and lift-the-flaps, such as “Do you prefer cats or dogs? Your spoon or your fork?”

Next up is Luke Pearson’s HILDA AND THE BIRD PARADE, straight from London’s Nobrow imprint Flying Eye Books. This latest installment of the Hildafolk series brings us to the bustling city of Trolberg, far away from Hilda's homeland of fjords and forests.

Last but not least is D&Q author Julie Morstad’s HOW TO, a gorgeous books that teaches kids how to wonder, be brave, disappear, wash your socks, and be a mermaid!
