Seth's Dominion screenings this month!

Seth's Dominion, directed by Luc Chamberland, is a hybrid documentary/animation film exploring the life of master cartoonist Seth. The film won the Grand Prize for Best Animated Feature at this year's Ottawa International Animation Festival and debuted internationally at London's Raindance Festival.

Now, Seth's Dominion is coming to Montreal, with multiple screenings around the city this month both as part of the Festival du Nouveau Cinema and at Cinema du Parc!

Seth's Dominion is an official selection of the Festival du Nouveau Cinema, and you'll have two chances to catch it, in the original English with French subtitles:

Saturday, October 11th, 4:30 pm:
Auditorium Alumni H-110 (Hall Building, Concordia University, 1455 boul. de Maisonneuve Ouest)
Tickets available here - Seth will be present and signing at this screening only! Kira and Alex will be on hand with a variety of Seth titles for sale.

Thursday, October 16th, 3:00 pm
Pavillion Judith-Jasmin Annexe (UQAM, 405 rue Sainte-Catherine Est)
Tickets available here

And if you can't make these FNC screenings, or if you want to see the movie a second time, Seth's Dominion will enjoy a limited run at Cinema du Parc from October 20th-23rd. Tickets will be available on their website or in person at their box office. These screenings will be followed by three short films also produced by the National Film Board- Minotaur (dir. Munro Ferguson), Rainy Days (dir. Vladimir Leschiov), and Rue de l'Inspecteur (dir. Emmanuelle Loslier)- making this event its own little film festival, if you will. More details about each of these films is here.
We'll see you there, Montreal. For now, settle down with your favourite Seth book (we have plenty in store, should you be lookin') and get excited about this trailer:
