TONIGHT: George Grella Jr. launches 33 1/3's Miles Davis's Bitches Brew!

You know we love the 33 1/3 series, we carry 'em all (and D+Q executive editor Tom Devlin and was even the subject of one of their recent  Better Now A Bookseller interviews) so we're super-happy to host this event with them for one of their newest entries in the series:  Miles Davis's Bitches Brew! One of the singular albums in the history of recorded music - Bitches Brew has been blowing minds for 45 years now - so please join  us this evening, Friday, November 20th at 7:00 p.m. to talk Miles Davis and listen to the revolutionary jazz-fusion of  Bitches Brew with author George Grella.

George Grella was raised in western New York state, where Bitches Brew was essential to his start as a jazz/improvising musician. He went on to study, play, and compose music in New York City and San Francisco. He currently lives with his family in Brooklyn, where he is one of the foremost contemporary music critics. Miles Davis’ Bitches Brew is his first book.
