Top 10 sellers of October: feminist takeover!

October was a big month for events and sales here at the Librairie Drawn & Quarterly, thanks to all of you! We're pretty excited to note that 80% of our 10 October bestsellers are by some of the most inspiring women writers and artists out there: Roxane Gay, Carrie Brownstein, Patti Smith, Eileen Myles, Kate Beaton, Gloria Steinem and Miranda July! (The excellent Adrian Tomine and Michel Rabagliati make up the other 20%.) We had to share the list with you:

Bad Feminist: Essays (Roxane Gay)

Hunger Makes Me a Modern Girl: A Memoir (Carrie Brownstein)

Killing and Dying: Stories (Adrian Tomine)

M Train (Patti Smith)

Chelsea Girls: A Novel (Eileen Myles)

Paul dans le nord (Michel Rabagliati)

Step Aside, Pops: A Hark! A Vagrant Collection (Kate Beaton)

My Life on the Road (Gloria Steinem)

An Untamed State (Roxane Gay)

The First Bad Man: A Novel (Miranda July)
