Tonight: Leslie Stein and Noah Van Sciver in Montreal!

We're very excited to announce our upcoming event with two of our favourite cartoonists working today! Please join us tonight at 7:00 p.m. as Leslie Stein and Noah Van Sciver give presentations on their recent acclaimed Fantagraphics books BRIGHT-EYED AT MIDNIGHT and SAINT COLE.

Leslie Stein is a cartoonist and musician living in Brooklyn, New York. She is the author of the comic book series Eye of the Majestic Creature, and her newest Bright-Eyed at Midnight, is a collection of diary comics. It has appeared on many end-of-2015 best-of lists. Both have been published by Fantagraphics Books. She also regularly contributes comics to VICE.

Noah Van Sciver first came to comic readers’ attention with his critically acclaimed comic book series Blammo, which has earned him 3 Ignatz award nominations. His work has appeared in Spongebob comics, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Mad magazine, Best American Comics 2011, and The Stranger, as well as countless graphic anthologies. He currently is the fellow at the Center For Cartoon Studies in White River Junction, VT. Van Sciver has four graphic novels: The Hypo: The Melancholic Young Lincoln, Youth Is Wasted, Saint Cole and Fante Bukowski: Struggling Writer.
