New and notable: spring stationery coups de coeur!

It's happening for real...spring is finally here! With the warmer weather and longer days you’ll be spending more time outdoors basking in the sun, no doubt. We’ve got an exciting influx of brand new stationery treasures to tote along, so you can sketch in a park, write on a terrace, or take your shopping list to the farmer’s market in style.

Shinola has released 2016-2017 Runwell planners and journals in beautiful new colours. It's hard to pick a favourite, but I'm loving the harbor blue and rich bordeaux shades.

Also noteworthy from Shinola is their new large format sketch book. Look closely and you'll see the signature lightning bolt embossed on the cover! Can't go wrong with classic matte black. The paper quality is great, and the rounded corners make an extra special touch.

Rifle Paper Co. has lovely new floral journals and pairs of notebooks in spring themes. Pictured above are "Birds of a Feather" and the "Jardin de Paris Memoir Notebook".

These gold accented Rorschach and Tapestry notebooks are striking in pink or blue. Luckily, you don't even have to choose between colours, because they come paired in a two-pack!

Rifle has also got some great organizing tools, including this Weekly List desk pad, and the Market List Notepad, complete with a handy-dandy magnet to stick it on your fridge.

We’ve also expanded our selection of writing tools to include pens, mechanical pencils, and pencil crayons. The popular Bright Ideas pencils now come in in every hue from vibrant neons to cool metallics as well as the standard graphite.

Japanese stationery brand Mark's Inc. makes the undisputed best pens and mechanical pencils, and we're delighted to offer a wide range of new colours. These have the most satisfying texture, and make writing by hand a total joy. Perfect inspiration to get your creative juices flowing!

While you're out basking in the sun, why not send a delightfully Montréal appropriate postcard to a loved one? I'm currently obsessed with the glory that is these Celine Dion cards from local studio Hello L-A, and we have a whole bunch of other new Montréal and Québec designs in store too!
