Thursday March 23rd: Readings by Erin Mouré, Chus Pato, and Stephen Collis

Join us tonight (Thursday, March 23rd) for an evening of readings from three fantastic poets: Erin Mouré, Chus Pato, and Stephen Collis!

Erin Mouré will be launching her new collection of selected poems, Planetary Noise, and Stephen Collis will read from his latest book, Once in Blockadia. Chus Pato will read from Flesh of Leviathan, which Mouré has translated into English from Galician. Pato and Mouré will also both read from their collaboratively-authored Secession/Insecession.

Erín Moure (born 1955 in Calgary, Alberta) is a Canadian poet and translator of poetry from languages which include French, Galician, Portuguese and Spanish to English. She wrote her first collections of poetry in Vancouver, including Empire, York Street (Anansi, 1979), which was nominated for Governor General's Award. Since 1985, she has lived in Montreal, where she has occasionally taught in the Creative Writing program at Concordia University. She is the author of 17 books of poetry and translator of many more.
